Da Cint,merge si um ai zis tu,dar eu ce postasem de pe youtube e diferit.Totusi,la design nu poti compara vista cu xp.Cica si pe partea de compatibilitate intre programe s-a rezolvat.Eu am descarcat ultima versiune de vista si dupa ce termin Diablo de jucat,o sa o instalez sa vad cum e

da,intr-adevar...xpul cum il scoti din cutie nu-l poti compara cu vista insa daca il customizezi putin...iesi cu efecte super la numai 30% aproximativ din resursele pe care le consuma vista. pe laptop am 2gb ram,si dual core. placa video iar...tine vista,cu 512mb numai ai ei... insa mai mult de o zi nu a rezistat. ma enerveaza consumul extraordinar de resurse pentru ..aproape nimic deosebit. vedeti efectele vizuale pe linux care abia daca consuma resurse...

in opinia mea,vista nu e ce s-a sperat.de aceea si in sondaje daca cititi la multi producatori de laptopuri atat in europa cat si peste ocean lumea cere windows xp cu licenta in loc de vista. pur si simplu a dezamagit... eu astept sa apara urmatorul windows,cel de dupa vista. de vista nu ma mai ating. auzi ce petarda de OS...in 3dmark in xp luam peste 15000 puncte si in vista ,care are si DX10 ,si mai adauga si memorie suplimentara si alte alea..scot doar 11300 parca...

vista e misto,pentru office ,pentru internet,pentru filme...cine vrea 3D ,recomand cu caldura XP MMC 2005 SP2 . un OS care tinde sa ajunga la maturitate in urma updateurilor,si patchurilor aparute pentru el.

dar pana la urma fiecare decide ce os e mai bun pentru el.depinde la ce foloseste calculatorul.

oricum microsoft am auzit ca vor sa scoata versiunile de windows mai repede acum...ramane de vazut daca se vor tine de promisiune,desi..cu semiesecul avut de vista..cred ca multi se vor gandi de 2 ori daca se renunte la xp pentru un nou release de la microsoft

Sincer eu nu stiu de ce considera toata lumea Vista un esec . Mie-mi place si cand am instalat-o a recunoscut tot ce aveam in laptop si n-aveam nicio problema cu driverele. Cu putine setari mergea perfect! Am revenit la XP pentru ca la aia am licenta, daca ar exista upgrade pe gratis nu m-as gandi nici un minut. Dar asta e parerea mea.

dupa cum am zis..fiecare la ce foloseste calculatorul. iar efecte vizuale ai si pe xp la mult mai putin resurse consumate..si apoi...drivere sunt si pe xp,si mie mi-a mers camera si touchpadul imediat,so... cu ce vezi vista superior unui xp modat?exceptand interfata. ca din cei n giga de drivere cu care vine vista nu cred ca o sa folosesti vreodata mai mult de 5-10%

@Cint: Ai dreptate, fiecare foloseste ce ii trebuie. Are motorul diferit de XP si mie mi-a mers mult mai bine, da' poate sunt eu norocos. Am un prieten care ruleaza fara probleme jocuri si in ansamblu este multumit. Deci nu numai de interfata e vorba

n-am zis ca nu le ruleaza ...dar acelasi benchmark ,aceleasi setari ... in xp iau 15000 ,in vista iau 11300. nu stiu..poate intr-un anume joc o sa ma bucur de aproape 25% fps in plus... nu e de colo. bine..daca ai un aspirator Quad core ,4gb ram ,ceva in sli, logic ca nici nu se simte,dar pe cele din clasa medie - joasa se simte diferenta...chiar si pe sectorul high al clasei medii as putea zice...

e un benchmark 3d. 3d mark 2001 de la raposata mad onion ,mai nou care foloseste titulatura de futuremark. din moment ce e pure 3D ,si ruleaza...eu zic ca e compatibil . e facut undeva in DX7 sau DX8 ,ceea ce nu da niciun avantaj in plus vistei cu DX10 ,fata de xp cu DX9c. mi se pare destul de fair bechmarkul.daca as fi folosit unul mai nou ar fi avantajat nedrept vista. asa...cu un DX mai vechi,se scoate doar performanta bruta in testele 3D respectiva

Why PC manufacturers and retailers don't want you to downgrade to WindowsXP?

Because it would cost them too much!

The manufacturers and retailers of computer equipment are primarily interested in making a profit! Like all businesses, this is not a bad thing - it is the corner-stone of our capitalist society, however, in order to do this they have a product that you take out of the box and it works!

If, for amy reason, this proves to be not the case - the product is likely to be returned and the profit goes out of the window. If the customer is told that he or she has to upgrade their new product they are not impressed. If the customer arrives at the notion that they need to "downgrade" the product, apart from being similarly unimpressed, they expect that the manufacturer of the product will allow them to do this. They expect that this would be no problem as what they are downgrading to is a well established system that should work very well on their new, fast and much improved hardware.

This is not proving to be the case!
Why is it too expensive for manufacturers to officially sanction downgrading to XP

Although it is not difficult to downgrade or install an operating system on a computer it is probably safe to state that it is beyond the capability of the majority of computer buyers.

This is the way it should be - buyers of consumer electronics should not expected to be qualified technicians, they are more than likely not the slightest bit interested in doing anything else but use their new purchase!

To provide customers with the information and resources to perform this downgrade would be very expensive as they not only would have to provide all the necassary tools but they would need a significantly more capable service infrastructure - anyone who has called HP, Dell, Toshiba or any of the major manufacturers lately can attest to this!

It has been seen on some forums that the box stores will perform this for a price, but this could never be an official policy as Microsoft would be on their backs straight away. Similarly Microsoft don't want you to downgrade, Duh! - they have made great efforts to encourage the manufacturers to produce equipment that was designed for Vista Only. (This is not strictly true, as compatability with an operating system depends on the hardware drivers - drivers for "Vista Only" hardware may not have been written - and maybe never will] and if the drivers are not made available then the consumer is out of luck!)

Microsoft have a lot riding on the fact that computers are designed for Vista. The more computers that are sold the more money they make, for themselves and the manufacturers, and the entrenchment of their monopoly is enhanced. Computer manufacturers have been waiting for MS to get their act together with repect to Vista - they want to sell more computers. The manufacturers have been vocal in their critisism of MS due to poor PC sales. Vista has been out there in the wild for almost a year and yet 95% of the hits on this website alone are from those looking for information to downgrade back to XP!
