N-am gasit nimic legat de pret,dar cred ca va fi co-branded Telefonica Spania,deci va fi subventionat .
va veni si la Vodafone,poate si la noi in .ro.

NTT DoCoMo to Sell 3G FOMA Windows OS Handsets Made by HTC

TAIWAN, January 23, 2006--- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. and High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC) announced today that they have signed a basic agreement under which DoCoMo will market HTC 3G FOMA(R) handsets with Microsoft(R) Windows Mobile(R) 5.0 Japanese edition operating systems. DoCoMo and HTC aim to launch commercial sales sometime in the second half of 2006.
HTC's handset will be designed to provide mobile solutions for corporate users and contributes greatly to system solutions by synchronizing with Windows Server? and Exchange Server to offer messaging and other business support.
The dual-mode W-CDMA and GSM/GPRS handset will offer voice, video and packet communications compatible with Wireless LAN and will feature a QWERTY keyboard.

Modeo shows new HTC smartphone supporting DVB-H

At the CTIA Wireless 2006 exhibition Modeo, the company engaged in mobile TV, shows a smartphone with an integrated DVB-H receiver (Digital Video Broadcast-Handheld), actively promoted by Nokia. However the smartphone is developed by the Taiwanese company HTC known for its Windows Mobile platforms. Modeo hasn’t announced the name of the smartphone, so far.

Modeo is planning to officially launch the commercial mobile TV service on main US markets, including New York, during this year. Last year the company successfully held the DVB-H network tests in Pittsburg. Currently it is implementing the network in 30 US districts, the launch is set for the next year. The new smartphone will be released during the second half 2006.
