Am descoperit recent Remote Star Mail:
O aplicatie care sta in system tray (langa ceas) si verifica din n in n minute daca sunt mesaje noi pe serverul pop3 de mail.
Cand apar mesaje noi programelul poate sa va anunte in 3 moduri:
1) Balloon tooltip - este disponibil doar pe Windows 2000 or newer.
2) Play a sound - remotestarmail vine si cu "mailworf.wav" ca demo.
3) Launch a file or an application.

Am testat clientul de mail din Opera.
Merge sa verific mailul de pe Yahoo.com utilizand YPOPS.

YPops

Dupa cum stiti,Yahoo.com nu ofera pop3 gratuit.Dar,Ypops ajuta,se logheaza cu username si parola la Yahoo si downloadeaza mailurile din inbox/bulk.
Incercati.
Instructiuni:
YPOPs! and Opera M2
1.click Mail -> New account -> Select Regular e-mail(POP). Click next
2.Type Yahoo in the "Real Name"box and your Yahoo email address in the Email Address box. Click next
3.Type your username in the "Login Name"box and type your "Yahoo" password in the password box. Click next
4.Type "127.0.0.1"in the Incoming and Outgoing Server field. Click Finish

* In Opera go to Mail>manage accounts click on your Yahoo Email account. Click Edit
Servers Tab -> Incoming Pop Server ->Authentication -> Select "Plaintext"
Servers Tab -> Outgoing Pop Server ->Authentication -> Select "Plaintext"
Also in the Outgoing POP Server fill in username and password. Click ok

sau asa:
pt Service Pack 1 - Control Panel la Set Program Access and Defaults si la Default Instant Messaging Program la Windows Messenger debifezi Enable access to this program.
pt service pack 2 in Control Panel, Add/Remove programs Add/Remove Windows Components si il dezinstalezi.

Stiti careva de unde iau driver-ul pt un cablu de date(DKU-5) de la NOKIA k pe site-ul lor nu il gasesc.

Eu am dezinstalat windows messenger cu ajutorul unei comenzi rulate cu Run.
